From sunglasses to face masks, numerous wearable devices promising a veil of anonymity are making their way into the mainstream, said Henry Navarro Delgado, an art and fashion professor at Canada’s Ryerson University.

Successful Training and Employment for Homeless Vets Gets Shut Down

Traditional trade schools took too long…especially when paychecks weren’t coming in.

10 hours a day, 5 hours a day for 6 weeks…  We removed all the distractions…  paid their hotel, transportation, meals, weekly stipend.

A placement department the same size as our admissions department…  Start selling them to employers the day they enrolled.

Instead of Arresting the Homeless, City of Little Rock is Paying Them to Pick Up Trash

After a total of 130 sites cleaned, 1,821 hours worked, and 2,056 bags of trash—all within five months— hearts and minds have been changed.

Each clean-up crew is paid in cash and is given a meal for their work.
